The Protector (Chinese:) is a 1985 Hong Kong-American activity movie coordinated by James Glickenhaus and featuring Jackie Chan, Danny Aiello and Roy Chiao. It was Chan's second endeavor at breaking into the American film showcase, after 1980 film The Big Brawl, a film which had been a failure in the cinematic world. Clashes amongst Glickenhaus and Chan amid creation prompted two authority renditions of the film: Glickenhaus' unique adaptation for American groups of onlookers and a Hong Kong form re-altered by Jackie Chan. Chan later guided Police Story as a reaction to this film.
